Daniel Negreanu never quite convinces

What stood out to me about Poker Queens (2020) was how Daniel Negreanu handled the role. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
