Denise Chamian has flashes, but it wobbles

There is something pretty interesting about how Denise Chamian fits into Red Sparrow (2018). It is solid enough, but there are moments where it feels a bit on autopilot. I like the idea of the performance more than the full result. I would not call it bad, just not as sharp as it could have been. Some scenes click, some just sit there. I can see someone else being kinder to it, but I did not fully get there.
