Dick Weaver has good moments, though not fully even
7/10 · Sound
What stood out to me about Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987) was how Dick Weaver handled the role. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
