Yuko Hara has good moments, though not fully even
7.5/10 · Sound
I kept coming back to Yuko Hara's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
