Carlos Pulpón has good moments, though not fully even
4.5/10 · Visual Effects
What stood out to me about Death in Torrevieja (2023) was how Carlos Pulpón handled the role. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
