Kanan Zeynalov is one of the stronger parts

What stood out to me about Darkness (2018) was how Kanan Zeynalov handled the role. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
