Benjamin R. Davis does not quite click

There is something pretty interesting about how Benjamin R. Davis fits into Paterson (2016). It never really locked in for me. I kept waiting for a more specific angle on the character. A few choices felt pushed, and that pulled me out of the scene. It is less about one scene and more about the overall aftertaste.
