Bruno Tarrière works in parts

Bruno Tarrière's contribution as Sound mixer gives Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan (2007) a more specific texture. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
