A useful but uneven turn from Jamie Roberts
6.5/10 · Directing
What stood out to me about Four Hours at the Capitol (2021) was how Jamie Roberts handled the role. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
