A useful but uneven turn from Caroline Berry
6/10 · Acting
What stood out to me about The Feast (2021) was how Caroline Berry handled the role. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
