A useful but uneven turn from Katharina Rivilis
7.5/10 · Directing
Katharina Rivilis's contribution as Director gives I'll Be Gone in June (2026) a more specific texture. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
