Timothy P. Ryan feels too thin here

Timothy P. Ryan's contribution as Transportation Coordinator gives Hail, Caesar! (2016) a more specific texture. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
