Raúl González Gemes gives the film real shape
9/10 · Art
I kept coming back to Raúl González Gemes's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
