Demitra Sealy has good moments, though not fully even
4.5/10 · Acting
Looking just at Demitra Sealy's work as Quando's Girlfriend, there is a clear point of view in the performance. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
