Jasmine Parker never quite convinces

What stood out to me about The Furies (2019) was how Jasmine Parker handled the role. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
