This role does not fully suit Kate Manning

Kate Manning's contribution as Music gives Unfinished (2026) a more specific texture. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
