Jack Solomon never quite convinces

Jack Solomon's contribution as Sound Mixer gives King Kong (1976) a more specific texture. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
