Anthea Strangis is solid, with a few rough edges

Anthea Strangis was the thing I kept watching in The Way Back (2020). The quieter stuff works better than the bigger beats. I would not call it bad, just not as sharp as it could have been. Some scenes click, some just sit there. I like the idea of the performance more than the full result. I can see someone else being kinder to it, but I did not fully get there.
