Olivier Pelletier works in parts
7/10 · Sound
What stood out to me about Libre Garance ! (2022) was how Olivier Pelletier handled the role. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
