Jean Umansky feels too thin here

What stood out to me about Drift (2024) was how Jean Umansky handled the role. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
