Didra Szugs has nice moments but also some problems

I watched The Peppercorns and the Secret of the Deep Sea (2021) and Didra Szugs was one of the parts I kept noticing. I can understand what the actor wants to do, but not every scene is strong. The performance is okay for the movie, but sometimes it feels a little flat. Some parts are good, but other parts feel normal and not very fresh. There are good moments, especially when the scene is quiet. I wanted more detail, but it still has some useful emotion. Maybe other people will like it more, but this is my feeling.
