Chi Zijian has good moments, though not fully even

What stood out to me about I Love You to the Moon and Back (2024) was how Chi Zijian handled the role. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
