A useful but uneven turn from Raul Mello

Raul Mello's contribution as Electrician gives Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) a more specific texture. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. It supports the film well enough, though it rarely changes the temperature of a scene. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
