Max Irons is okay but not always strong

I watched The Wife (2017) and Max Irons was one of the parts I kept noticing. I can understand what the actor wants to do, but not every scene is strong. I wanted more detail, but it still has some useful emotion. Some parts are good, but other parts feel normal and not very fresh. There are good moments, especially when the scene is quiet. The performance is okay for the movie, but sometimes it feels a little flat. This is only my personal view, but the performance changed how I enjoyed the film.
