Harry Tayler works in parts
7.5/10 · Acting
Looking just at Harry Tayler's work as Roald Dahl, there is a clear point of view in the performance. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
