This role does not fully suit Tomoko Yoshimura

What stood out to me about High☆Speed!: Free! Starting Days (2015) was how Tomoko Yoshimura handled the role. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
