Strong, thoughtful work from Shi Menegat

Shi Menegat's contribution as Armando gives The Messenger (2024) a more specific texture. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
