João Bourbonnais misses the mark for me

João Bourbonnais gives this role a little extra shape without making a big show of it. I kept waiting for a more specific angle on the character. A few choices felt pushed, and that pulled me out of the scene. The performance does the job, but not much more than that. It is less about one scene and more about the overall aftertaste.
