Austin Stowell has nice moments but also some problems

For me, Austin Stowell's work in Battle of the Sexes (2017) is easy to talk about after watching. The performance is okay for the movie, but sometimes it feels a little flat. Some parts are good, but other parts feel normal and not very fresh. I wanted more detail, but it still has some useful emotion. There are good moments, especially when the scene is quiet. This is only my personal view, but the performance changed how I enjoyed the film.
