Strong, thoughtful work from Egons Dombrovskis

I kept coming back to Egons Dombrovskis's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
