A useful but uneven turn from Laurence Caines

Looking just at Laurence Caines's work as Assistant Costume Designer, there is a clear point of view in the performance. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
