A useful but uneven turn from Kevin O'Connell

Kevin O'Connell's contribution as Sound Re-Recording Mixer gives Ella McCay (2025) a more specific texture. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
