Strong, thoughtful work from Benjamin Rioux

What stood out to me about L'Étrange Histoire de Mr. Anderson (2021) was how Benjamin Rioux handled the role. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
