Cho Sun-ho has good moments, though not fully even
7/10 · Writing
I kept coming back to Cho Sun-ho's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
