A useful but uneven turn from Paulyn Chua

Paulyn Chua's contribution as Executive Producer gives Badak (2025) a more specific texture. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story.
