A useful but uneven turn from MaryMargaret O'Neill
7/10 · Production
Looking just at MaryMargaret O'Neill's work as Extras Casting Assistant, there is a clear point of view in the performance. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
