Yang Ik-june is one of the stronger parts

I kept coming back to Yang Ik-june's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
