Jessica Bennet feels too thin here

Jessica Bennet's contribution as Associate Producer gives The Great War (2019) a more specific texture. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
