Heidi Pakdel gives the film real shape

Looking just at Heidi Pakdel's work as Makeup Department Head, there is a clear point of view in the performance. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
