Courtney Sexton is very good here

For me, Courtney Sexton's work in Elián (2017) is easy to talk about after watching. It is not too loud, but I still remembered the performance after watching. There are small expressions that make the character feel more real. The timing is good, and the emotion comes at the right moments. The acting feels natural, and I can follow the feeling very easily. It is one of the reasons the movie stayed interesting for me.
