Nita Hsia Jo-Yen feels too thin here

Nita Hsia Jo-Yen's contribution as Gong Lan Lan gives Anaconda (2024) a more specific texture. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
