Richard T. Jones feels too thin here
2.5/10 · Acting
What stood out to me about Phone Booth (2003) was how Richard T. Jones handled the role. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
