Joe Kurak has flashes, but it wobbles

There is something pretty interesting about how Joe Kurak fits into Scorned (2013). A few choices felt pushed, and that pulled me out of the scene. It never really locked in for me. It feels like the role needed another layer that never quite showed up. I kept waiting for a more specific angle on the character. The performance does the job, but not much more than that. That is the part I kept thinking about after the movie ended.
