Kenichi Tahara is one of the stronger parts

Kenichi Tahara's contribution as Theme Song Performance gives The Colors Within (2024) a more specific texture. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
