Gro Therp feels too thin here

Gro Therp's contribution as Casting gives Sticks and Stones (2018) a more specific texture. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
