Hiroshi Kamiya feels too thin here

What stood out to me about Mr. Osomatsu: The Hipipo Tribe and the Glistening Fruit (2022) was how Hiroshi Kamiya handled the role. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
