This role does not fully suit Serge Ladouceur

What stood out to me about The Favourite Game (2003) was how Serge Ladouceur handled the role. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
