Shane Hurlbut is one of the stronger parts
10/10 · Camera
Looking just at Shane Hurlbut's work as Director of Photography, there is a clear point of view in the performance. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
