Michelle Jenner has good moments, though not fully even

Looking just at Michelle Jenner's work as Liliana, there is a clear point of view in the performance. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
