Takuya Nagaoka never quite convinces

What stood out to me about The Great Clash 2: Endless War (2018) was how Takuya Nagaoka handled the role. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
